I think this definitely was a learning experience for us. In retrospect I would of spent more time brainstorming and researching my ideas before I started the contest. I love the LOGO that we chose which is completely opposite of what we thought we wanted. After consulting with a friend who is a graphic designer and marketing genius (who we could not afford) and some Doctors who we service we decided that we needed to head in a completely different direction than what we started at. The designers were great and listened however they started to look similar as the contest went on. I definitely recommend posting comments telling them to remain unique and individual.
All in all it was fun but a little consuming to have to look and judge each day. What I hoped would take minutes a day to much longer.
